Snowmaker
Position summary
Did you know that our team of snowmakers defies Mother Nature every winter? How do they do it? They install, operate, adjust and move snow guns, and they constantly monitor the quality and quantity of snow produced. If you like to work in nature and physically, if you are resourceful and the adventure challenges you, this job is for you!
Roles and responsibilities
- Install, start, stop and move (manually or with motorized equipment) the snow guns;
- Ensure proper functioning of hydrants;
- Start pumps and compressors;
- Use a propane torch to thaw some equipment;
- Check the condition of supply lines, hoses and fittings;
- Operate ski lifts in the event of freezing rain;
- Clean trees and chairs overloaded with man-made snow;
- Carry out continuous checks on the quality of produced snow.

Schedule and duration
- Seasonal position, starting early October.
- 12-hour shifts, day or evening.

- Ease to work in a team.
Aptitudes and Qualities
- Punctual, honest, professional and responsible;
- Autonomous;
- Good physical condition;
- Ability to work noisy environment, in the cold and darkness (use of mining lamp).
