Job Description

Aramark Remote Workplace Services are hiring for Snow Removal worker for a remote lodge near Geraldton, ON. The Snow removal Worker is responsible for the maintaining and cleanliness of surrounding area, shoveling snow, etc. In addition, the individual may perform other serviceable duties as assigned.
Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Transportation is provided out of Thunder Bay, ON;
travel allowance is available for some areas that are further away.
Rotation are 20 days on10 days off.

Job Responsibilities

• Log all maintenance issues
• Maintain a clean work area at all times
• Reports mechanical malfunctions to appropriate party for action
• Moves and assists in moving snow at various facilities/sites
• Exercises discretion in identifying projects requiring the services of a higher skilled crafts person
• Know and comply with all company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, emergencies and energy
• Report to work on time and in complete uniform

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in general maintenance
• Basic maintenance skills and ability
• Previous experience operating heavy equipment is preferred
• Must have a valid and current US driver's license and must pass a motor vehicle record history check to operate equipment

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
