Irving Shipbuilding Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Integration Co-op Student for the Winter 2025 Term to work with our Supply Chain Team.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Supply Chain Integration team with assigned Project Management tasks to include deliverables management and coordination associated with delivery of chartered projects linked to Supply Chain's long term strategy
  • Help with development of processes, KPIs, reporting, training
  • Leverage strong communication skills to engage with internal stakeholders across several departments, including Engineering, Production and Supply Chain to prepare and deliver internal and external progress updates

Qualifications

  • Education Required:
    • Currently enrolled in a 4-year degree program from the following areas:
    • Business Administration
    • Engineering
  • Good academic standing
  • Strong academic performance and a desire to excel
  • Proven leadership in professional, athletic, school or community pursuits
  • Interest in the shipbuilding, defense, or marine industry and a desire to join an exciting, fast-paced organization
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, openness to learning new technology
  • Skilled in organizing and managing a variety of tasks with varying priorities and is a fast learner and effective problem solver

All successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
