Skilled Labourer
Atlas Structural Systems is a manufacturer specializing in the design and manufacture of pre-engineered structural systems for commercial and residential construction projects in Eastern Canada and the US. Responsibilities
- Work in a team setting to build roof trusses, wall panels, floor panels, or small projects such as sheds, garbage bins, etc.
- Take measurements and read blueprints/designs
- Connect wooden components and other materials to match design specifications
- Daily use of power tools
- Follows procedures and demonstrates safe work behaviors
Qualifications
- Safety mindset with a willing to learn attitude
- High attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Comfortable working in hot, cold, and variable temperatures
- Capable of lifting at least 50lbs and working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with power tools is considered an asset
- Construction experience is considered an asset
