Description:

In this multi-faceted role, you will assist guests in booking ski school programs. You will actively provide guest information regarding Panorama Mountain Resorts, events, services and facilities.

Essential Functions:

  • Must possess an extensive knowledge of ski school programs and resort activities and events.
  • Provide information and book ski school programs according to guest needs. Work with the sales department to fulfill group bookings.
  • Uphold PMV and outlet policies and in conjunction with Employee Experience discipline employees as required.
  • Responsible for the training of desk staff on sales and customer service procedures, as well as our point-of-sale system.
  • Responsible for the scheduling of the desk staff ensuring a balance between labor costs and excellent customer service.
  • Oversee department administrative tasks.
  • Produce perfect payroll weekly (must be available to work on statutory holidays as payroll is often due to be submitted on Mondays), approve all snow school employee shifts in Dayforce prior to weekly payroll cutoff. Assist in the implementation of resort programs and organize special events and assist other departments with functions as needed.
  • Process daily sales, ensure cash outs are balanced at the end of day.
  • Ensure all methods of communication are correct and updated regularly.
  • Accountable for dept. area daily maintenance of grounds, equipment & amenities

Experience/Requirements:

  • Supervisory experience
  • Leadership Skills
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Google Drive
  • Payroll experience
  • Scheduling experience
  • Administration or sales related experience in snow school field preferred.
  • Proven ability to work with ticketing and sales software.
  • Ability to take initiative, be highly organized, effectively communicate, and manage groups.
  • Must be flexible and adaptable under changing conditions & priorities.
  • Able to work weekends and holidays when required.
  • Level 1 ski or snowboard certification is an asset.
