Acdu/skilled Worker Math Instructor

The College of New Caledonia requires an instructor to teach Math in the Academic Upgrading Program at the Mackenzie campus.

• A university degree, preferably a Master's in Math
• Teaching experience with adult education
• A Provincial Instructor Diploma would be considered an asset
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Enthusiastic energy in the classroom and the ability to maintain a positive learning environment
• Recent teaching experience in the K to 12 system
• Experience working with Indigenous learners is an asset

You will promote a positive work atmosphere and communicate in a professional manner that demonstrates mutual respect with students and colleagues.

You will be part of a team actively engaged in contributing to and accomplishing the vision, mission, and goals of the College and in supporting the aspirations and needs of our learners and communities.

Hiring criteria shall include professional qualifications, professional experience, teaching experience, college contributions, community awareness and personal attributes so far as they are applicable to the job classification in question.

There will also be part-time instructing available, required from September 3 to September 20, 2024 and November 12 to December 13, 2024
