Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure atmosphere at The Great Divide Lodge, including the resort and staff accommodation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conducting security patrols of The Great Divide Lodge property
  • Ensure "conditions of residence" as outlined in rental contracts are maintained
  • Assist hotel guests with out of hours enquiries
  • Liaison with local law enforcement and emergency service agencies
  • Respond to complaints and conduct investigations
  • Provide assistance and/or information to employees and the general public
  • Complete the required nightly security and property checks and any incident reports
  • Act as the on-duty supervisor during working hours
  • Ensure all guest needs are met during overnight hours
  • Maintain the cleanliness standards of all public areas of the hotel
  • Perform front desk duties including check-in/out late arriving guests/early departing guests
  • Assist with accommodation operations including preparation of housekeeping and laundry duties
  • All other duties as required by the Lodge Management

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Canadian or international driver's license with clean abstract required
  • Ability to enforce rules, without being influenced by friends/work colleagues.
  • Must be able to work independently with little supervision
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and responsible to work with minimal or no supervision
  • Must be physically capable of lifting/carrying 50 lbs
  • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
  • First Aid, CPR, Self Defense and Mediation skills preferred

Work Schedule:

5 Days On / 2 Days Off - Business level dependent
