Job Description:
The Retail, Rental & Repair Attendant is responsible for providing prompt, courteous and knowledgeable service to customers. A keen interest in product merchandising and customer service is essential. RRR Attendants must accommodate the needs of our guests in serving them with the ski/snowboard equipment that they require. Maintaining a high level of customer service at all times is essential.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist the guest in choosing and fitting the appropriate equipment
Assist the guest in completing the rental contract
General shop cleaning
Become familiar with rental shop cash procedure
Strictly follow rental shop procedure guidelines
Assist with daily rental returns
Ability to mount a vast variety of ski and snowboard bindings without nstruction or supervision
Assist customers with basic repairs such as replacing lost items for a cost, such as straps, binding screws etc
Customer service and sales including cash register operation and balancing
Product merchandising and display including coordinating fashion apparel
Assist in receiving, pricing and stocking of retail products
Inventory stock taking and control
Regularly communicate with your peers & supervisors to ensure the overall success of the department
Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge
Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times
Self motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
Computer literate with proficiency using basic programs such as Windows and Outlook
Previous experience as a rental technician or retail attendant considered an asset
1-2 years cash-handling experience required
Strong communication skills with a second language considered an asset
Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures.
Strong knowledge of retail sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
Punctuality and reliability is essential
Can work well in a team as well as independently
Ability to deal with a broad range of people & departments
Must possess the desire to provide a high level of genuine customer service
A Police Background Check from your home country or province will be required upon commencement of employment
